Everlasting and Impermanent, 2013.
Made on a human size scale this ceramic piece emanates sounds recorded during its making. Synchronously, external sounds of a replica of the work document its destruction. Sited in the midst of the broken replica the work is sensitive to vibrations: gently swaying in response to significant movement, a sense of precarious fragility engendering caution and reverence engages the viewer in a choreographed relationship with the work.

'Fragments of the Execution of Maximilian', with sticker removal, 2012.
Concerned with 'site' in the context of reproduction, this iconic work of art, in its original form, has a permanence and fixity which accrues its value, whilst on the other, in reproduction, it is emancipated and mobilized to move freely and cheaply, in terms of time, location, medium and size. the sticker removal emphasises this economic devaluing through reproducibility, and in the process leaves a mark which uncannily embeds itself into the very fabric of the picture.
